I want to learn how to make scented candles at home. I have tried to find stuff online teaching me how to do so, but have come up empty handed.
I love scented candles, but in these tough economic times, its hard to buy them, so I would love to learn how to make them. Maybe even give them as gifts!

the supplies you need in craft stores
like Michael’s or Hobby Lobby.
You can make candles very simply using paraffin from the grocery store and empty milk cartons for molds or you can make a full-blown hobby of it. Two things that you will need that you’ll probably have to buy commercially are *essential oils* for scent and *wicks*. Commercial colors are also easier to use, but I have achieved interesting results from melting cheap wax crayons.
