Are Scented Candles Okay, or Can the Fumes Interfere With Respiratory Health, Allergies/asthma?

I’m wondering basically if I should ditch my scented candles or not. Will they take away from the air quality and make allergies/asthma worse, or basically does it have no effect?

Basically, it depends on whose inhaling it. If it is an asthmatic, who is sensitive to those aromas than yes, it would have a negative effect. Or someone who has chronic inflammation of their airways like a chronic bronchitic. But to most of the population they are pleasant.
    God bless.

I think the carbon dioxide release by smoke can triggered the asthma. I suggest instead of having scented candles. why not try to have a scent diffusing system in your home. ?

Most people with asthma are sensitive to scents. If you’ve used them before with no issues-then it’s probably ok. I think that ditching the candles is a good idea-better safe than sorry.
